HMD Global, the home of Nokia phones, has unveiled the Nokia G60 5G to Kenya, affirming that it brings sustainability and longevity.
Dubbed the eco-friendliest G-series device to date, it’s sustainably crafted with 100 percent recycled plastic back and 60 percent recycled plastic frame.
It also brings the premium promises seen in the X-series to the G-series for the first time, helping users keep their phone for longer with the ‘3-3-3’ promise – three years of OS upgrades and monthly security updates, and a three-year warranty.

The body and back cover of Nokia G60 5G are made using 60 percent and 100 percent recycled plastic respectively whilst maintaining the superior durability Nokia phones are known for.
Nokia G60 5G is also housed in new packaging that has an increased amount of recycled content and uses FSC-certified materials.
“If one million people held onto their Nokia G60 5G for an extra year, they would save the same CO2e as needed to power 5,652 homes for a whole year,” the company suggested.
