Java House Group has appointed Priscilla Gathungu as CEO, making her the first woman to occupy the position.
The human resource professional was previously Divisional Managing Director Foodscape. Prior to that, she was Commercial Director.
Prior to joining Java in February 2014, Ms. Gathungu was head of human resources – Anglophone Countries – for technology firm Mara Ison.
She has also been a human resource practitioner working with different firms including MRM – Safal Group, Sholom Community Alliance, Pearson VUE, Target and Allina Health.
Gathungu holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organisation Management and Leadership from Concordia University – St Paul, and Masters in Business Administration from the same institution.
Priscilla was appointed as Group CEO in November 2022.
