National Bank of Kenya (NBK) Head of Treasury Solomon Alubala resigned last week. Mr. Alubala tended his resignation on Monday, 18th April 2016 and it was accepted by the Acting CEO Mr. Wilfred Musau.
Alubala had served in the capacity from January 2013.
Due to the sensitivity of the position he held and the current leadership challenges at the bank, he left the organization immediately.
Before joining NBK, Solomon Alubala had served in the same capacity at Cooperative Bank of Kenya from April 2011 to November 2012.
He holds a BA Economics degree from the University of Nairobi.
His knowledge ranges from financial markets, to commercial banking, financial analysis, treasury management and foreign exchange among others.
Born in 1981, he is one of the youngest banking officials to ever hold such a high position in Kenya’s banking industry.
